Слово «пародия», анг. parody, произошло от греческого para- «рядом, вместе» и ode «песня». однако в речи англичане предпочитают употреблять слово spoof. Также можно сказать, что parody — технический термин, то есть например, фильм в жанре пародии — это именно a parody film.
Есть еще lampoon — резкая сатира, высмеивающая общепринятые нормы. В речи слово не используется, зато был такой популярный журнал.

humour vs. jibe
jibe — тоже самое, что сарказм, такое колкое замечание. Только делается оно не для того, чтобы вас задеть, а чтобы посмешить говорящего или даже вас самого.
